T

raining medical students can be quite expensive, which can be a barrier to ensuring that medical students get strong experience in all techniques, including surgical procedures. In collaboration with leading biomedical researchers at the University of Arizona, 8chili is developing a headband using virtual and mixed reality technology to create standard operating procedure content for medical training. The device and content will provide the next generation of doctors the ability to learn in a uniquely interactive environment.
